The Fest returned to Gainesville, Florida this October to celebrate its sweet 16 with a homecoming from local legends, Against Me! and plenty of PBR. The punk rock family reunion takes place yearly over three days, incorporates multiple venues, and features hundreds of punk bands. You’re always guaranteed to leave with at least 20 new favorite bands and 50 new best friends.

I’m honored to have been able to serve as a documentarian for The Fest for a second year. Here are my favorite images from the weekend:

This year, bands like Blessthefall, Neck Deep, Silverstein, and War on Women grace the tour’s six stages. The tour will continue through the first week of August, so make sure you have your tickets!

Eikon: Elle King and Paul Cauthen Live in St. Pete

Photos by Miranda Jayne

Elle King baptized downtown St. Petersburg, Florida with her Ministry Tour last Saturday. Joined by Paul Cauthen, she performed songs from her debut album Love Stuff and entertained the crowd with stories about breakups, mean girls, and demons (yes, actual demons). The ordained minister even performed a vow renewal onstage.

Formerly part of the band Sons and Fathers, Cauthen released his first solo album only a month ago. With a voice that’s a dead ringer for Johnny Cash, he has already been praised by Rolling Stone as a promising new voice in country music.

Check out a gallery of the dynamic duo’s performances under the cut.
